Chris Gildea

Preceptor, Ambulatory Care Pharmacist 

Dr. Gildea is a new addition to the ambulatory care team at SJHS and will be working with the Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN) and Anthem ACO in the areas of medication therapy management (MTM), diabetes education and transitions of care. Dr. Gildea graduated from Purdue University in May 2015 with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and went on to complete a post-graduate residency with Mathes Pharmacy and Diabetes Center in affiliation with Purdue University. His residency training focused primarily on diabetes self-management education (DSME), community pharmacy research, medication synchronization, participation in a teaching certificate program and precepting pharmacy students. He is a member of APhA and ASHP.
