Rural Medicine

This rotation will provide the 2nd year resident exposure to and experience in the full scope of family medicine as practiced in a rural setting, increasing the resident’s preparation for independent functioning as a family physician upon graduation. The rotation will allow the resident an experience in family medicine in a community setting away from the academic medical center. The resident will continue developing the attitude, knowledge, and skills necessary to provide quality primary care in any setting.
