Podiatric Residency Program
On behalf of the Podiatric Residency at Saint Joseph Health System, welcome to our website. Our program was established more than 20 years ago and shares a rich tradition of highly trained foot and ankle surgeons both locally and nationally. As a PMSR/RRA program, we deliver a multitude of foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries with a diversity of talented surgeons. Our program boasts a large outpatient clinic where residents are able to manage their patient groups, which provides consistent continuity of care.
Saint Joseph Health System is supportive of medical education programs. Our Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency integrates routinely with the Family Medicine and Pharmacy Practice residency programs and the Sports Medicine Fellowship. Subsequently, whether inpatient or outpatient, our system is able to provide a consistent multi-disciplinary approach to patient care as well as medical education. These attributes create a training environment that is both challenging and rewarding.
Our program offers one-month clerkships for third and fourth year medical students.
