Priya Thakkar

My name is Priya Thakkar. I am originally from Lake in the Hills, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science from the Honors College. I then attended Rosalind Franklin University, where I graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. I am interested in sports medicine, wound care, trauma, and research. I’m looking forward to bringing my research experience to projects at Saint Joseph. I am also an avid cook and baker and enjoy spending time with my loved ones and traveling. I am excited to join the wonderful podiatric medicine and surgery residency program at Saint Joseph and begin my surgical training. I am passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to my patients.
