Lou Ann Hall Matos

My name is Lou Ann Hall Matos, born and bred in Puerto Rico! I obtained my bachelor's in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey, and then spent six years serving and traveling with the US Navy, and three years working at the Illinois Department of Public Health Laboratories. After a few years of graduate school in Virginia, I attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois.

Saint Joe felt like home from day one as a student, and thus I am very excited to join the Podiatry Residency team for the next three years. In my spare time, you can find me practicing yoga, hiking, fishing, camping, or spending time outdoors with my family and husky dog, Luna.
