Zachary DuBois

Hey! My name is Zach DuBois and I was born and raised in Elkhart, IN. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 before touring full-time as a singer-songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. After 7 years of “life on the road,” I decided to pursue my passion for medicine at Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. I have deep roots to the Northern Indiana area and I am thrilled to be back home, receiving a true “womb-to-tomb” training experience in family medicine at Saint Joe! The culture of the program really stood out to me during my rotations and interviews, and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the family of residents and faculty. Professionally, I am interested in sports and integrative medicine, with an emphasis on lifestyle modification for chronic disease prevention and extended quality of life - specifically food as medicine and implementing exercise, yoga, meditation and sauna into daily life.

My wife, Katy, and I are excited that we don’t have to sell our house in South Bend and will be able to continue planting roots in the Michiana community! We have a husky named Frisco and are hoping to add a few children to the family in the near future. Outside of medicine, I enjoy songwriting, woodworking, traveling, hiking, yoga, sauna, cooking, playing golf, and watching sports (Go Irish!).
