After graduating from Wheaton College in Illinois, Dr. Kevin Ericson attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. He completed residency training at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. He then went on to private practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for four years.

Fulfilling a desire to teach, Dr. Ericson then took a position as a faculty member at Eastern Maine Medical Center's Family Practice Residency Program in Bangor, Maine, where he stayed for four years.

Dr. Ericson joined our program in 1997 and has completed a Faculty Development fellowship through Duke University. He maintains a strong interest in medical missions and is the Coordinator of our Global Health Track. He spent time as a medical student in Liberia working in a mission hospital and has served on multiple short-term missions to Guatemala and Trinidad. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He serves as the Family Medicine Center Clinic Director and has interests in obstetrics, pediatrics, evidence-based medicine and point-of-care ultrasound. Dr. Ericson and his wife, Lisa, have four adult children.
