Visiting Mishawaka Medical Center

You play an important role in the recovery of your loved one. Immediate family are welcome to visit at any time. Other guests may visit from 10 am – 7 pm. The safety and health of our patients is our number one priority. Our nursing staff or physicians may modify visiting hours based on individual patient need. Visitors should enter the hospital using the main lobby entrance on the first floor. After-hours visitors must enter through the Emergency Department and will be issued a visitor badge. To provide our staff the space they need to provide the best care, limit the number of visitors in the room at once. Do not leave children unattended. Keep in mind some areas of the hospital may not be appropriate for young children. Do not visit if you are ill with an infectious disease such as cold or flu.

Parking and transportation

Parking for the hospital is located off of Holy Cross Parkway, in the main lot on the east side of the hospital campus. Please follow signs for hospital parking. Patient drop-off is available at the main entrance. For patient convenience, a discharge exit is located just south of the main entrance. It may be easier to meet and pick up patients here.

Medical Office Building entrance

Parking for the Medical Office Building is located off of Douglas Road, on the north side of the hospital campus. Please follow signs for Medical Office Building parking.

Emergency & after-hours entrance

Emergency Room and after-hours visitation parking is located in the lot on the west side of the hospital campus. Please follow signs for the Emergency Department.

Dining

Lake Side Dining, located on the Garden Floor, is available during the following hours:

Breakfast | 6:30 am - 9am
Lunch | 11am - 1:30pm

The menu changes daily with a wide array of choices available, including:

Grill station
Deli station
Entrée options
Homemade pizza baked in our brick oven
Variety of side items
Dessert

Vending is available on every floor and on the Garden Level.

Business center

A Business center is located off the main lobby on the first floor for the convenience of our patients, visitors and job-seekers. Computer workstations are available for public use and online job application.

WiFi

Wireless Internet is available for patients and visitors. Please note our staff does not provide technical support of personal laptops.

Accessing WiFi:

• You should first access your wireless network settings and/or configuration for your device.
• View available networks, and select iguest.
• Choose Connect.
• Review the “Terms of Use” agreement and click Accept.

Gift Shop

If you have a loved one at the hospital, let them know you are thinking about them by purchasing or sending a gift or flowers.

The Mishawaka Medical Center Gift Shop makes it convenient for you to send your best wishes to our hospital patients. Here find gifts for all ages. The Gift Shop is staffed by our volunteers, and all proceeds are given back to our community through our mission and outreach services programs.
