Im normally very confident in my doctor however prior to this appointment i was experiencing symptoms I wanted to discuss with him including chest pains When the doctor entered the room he was already dictating into his recorder “ patient denies having chest pains shortness of breath ….” Prior to speaking to me at all. The doctor did explain why I could not get a stress test but the entire appointment was 4-5 minutes and I am not confident this time that i do not have an unaddressed problem
He definitely took my health seriously. Also helped me get my health back on track.

He knows exactly what he is looking for in the info in front of him concerning me, knows what it all means, and can convey to me that I'm perfect! Then he brings up, but try to lose some weight....which I can accept because I've already been told I'm perfect, knowing myself that I'm not. And it's not said by him to be mean or judgy, just the truth is all. I'd rather it be said than overlooked. Thanks.

I love that he stays on time and that I’m seen by him within minutes of my appointment time. It’s respectful to my time. I wish his schedule was such that he could spend a little more time with patients because he always seems like he’s in a hurry to leave and may not always be completely focused on the patient he’s with.
Dr Patel is a Great Doctor
It was vary good
This visit the physian appeared more personable however he still appeared rushed dictating aloud during session and I was correcting him or adding things to his dictation while sitting next to hm. He is in and out very quickly and was mentioned things to me as he was walking out the door. Visit was around 10 minutes for a pre operative clearance and consultation.

I was early for my appointment and began the appointment without my waiting for the scheduled time.
My doctor talks to me, gets my concerns and treats me like a person and not just a patient.

I was asked recently if I would recommend Dr. Patel. I said he is a competent cardiologist but is ver rushed and appears irritated if you ask any questions or make observations that do not directly apply to your cardiac condition. He is distrated by his dictating duriing thr entire session and often is reviewing the previsous medical record during the session often getting previous history and content wrong requireing the patient to correct . He was a much better and more holistic thinking physician when I first saw him over four years ago, I have lost a significan amount of weight over the years over 90 pounds and maintained it. Dr. Patel rarely ever acknowledges the loss or my maintaining it. This was a treatment he recommended, and I did it for my heart and overall health.
Dr was with me to explain to me the outcome of my tests and was easy to understand and asked if I had any questions.
Appreciate the timeliness of wait time, and visit time .
