This was my second appointment with Dr. Pratap. My first appointment I would rate as an 8. The fact that I was seeing him on a consult basis, due to losing my previous cardiologist, since he moved to Indianapolis, made this appointment appear strained. I needed a refill for my medication, and therefore, there was no problem that warranted this appointment just the fact I needed to meet with him for my medication reason at this time.. Dr. Pratap needed to obtain my records and that may have been my error due to not informing the scheduler the reason for my appointment, as a new patient. However, this second appointment as a follow up to give Dr. Pratap time to review my records, was also need for me to determine if I would like to have Dr. Pratap as my cardiologist. The interest he showed by answering my questions and taking the time to explain my lab results and the levels, regarding where they should be, set my mind at ease. This is the type of care I expect from my doctors. He has a pleasant bedside manner and I look forward to his continued care. Thank you Dr. Pratap for a pleasant appointment for a healthy heart.
