I appreciate how Dr. Vanderzwaag takes as much time as I require and doesn't complain that she doesn't have enough time for me like other providers that I have had.
Maybe pay a little more attention to detail. Like making sure prescriptions are sent over. My child had to suffer all weekend because he couldn’t get an RX over the weekend.

All the office staff were great same for the nurse. But im not sure what the deal is. Examination should include steps if im correct. Actually checking the area or doing a swallow test or something. Im not a professional but i know there are options to looking for a solution.

my whole overall experience was great
I had a number of issues to discuss. Dr VdZ and I disagreed on some issues. The discussion became "lively" at times. I had some frustrations but would not characterize my behavior as being upset or combative. You have a protocol to take weigh-in at check-in but no protocol that ensures the accuracy of the weight data you collect. I found this unusual. I'm sure the doctor and nurse staff felt I made to much of an issue about this. I've tried unsuccessfully to get a number of medical professionals to view/read/interpret an X-ray in the past couple of years. I find this frustrating. I think that with Dr VdZ ordering new X-rays, this issue may be addressed. I need a definitive answer to the status of my heart health. Tests have been ordered. I wish I had the confidence that the Dr seems to have(?) that an "echo" will yield as useful data as a "cath". I look forward to our next visit and promise to "play nice with others".
