Primary Pediatric Care

Inpatient Pediatric Unit
The Pediatric Unit on the fourth floor of Mishawaka campus provides quality, expert care for infants and children of all ages. The unit is staffed by certified pediatric nurses with extensive pediatric experience. Dedicated physicians provide 24-hour care with fourteen private pediatric rooms.
Pediatric Therapy Services
We offer comprehensive pediatric therapy services for individuals from birth to age 18 who have special needs at our Mishawaka campus.
Here, children with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, genetic syndromes, autism, orthopedic conditions, or dysphagia can receive therapy in a personalized, compassionate, family-friendly environment.
- First Steps program, where care is provided within the patient's home until age 3
- Occupational therapy, such as fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, self-care skills, and sensory processing issues
- Physical therapy
- Speech therapy, including swallow studies
