Visiting A Patient
You play an important role in the recovery of your loved one. We appreciate and encourage your visit, as it is convenient for you and desired by the patient.
Hospital-wide visiting hours are from 11 am - 8 pm, but these times do vary by unit. See below for more information.
General Visiting Guidelines
Please check with the nurses on the unit you are visiting for additional information.
- Please contain your visit to your loved one's room to respect the privacy of our other patients. During emergency situations, you may be asked to go to a Family Waiting Area.
- The patient may need rest and sleep most of all. If that is the case, please keep visits short.
- Please limit the number of visitors in the patient room at one time, to provide our staff with the space they need to provide the best care.
- Please do not leave children unattended and keep in mind that some areas may not be the appropriate place for young children. Make sure visitors of all ages are free of infectious diseases or illnesses.
- We prefer you do not bring food and beverages into patient rooms. This is a consideration for all of our patients.
- The use of cell phones is permissible inside the hospital, but we ask that you leave the unit or use the Family Waiting Area to make a call, especially if you are discussing the condition of a patient.
