The SJRMC Family Practice Residency Program is a three-year program based on the concept that at the conclusion of training, a Family Medicine resident will be able to provide comprehensive medical care on a continuing bases for patients and their families.
Upon completion, physicians are board eligible for the American Board of Family Practice and American Board of Osteopathy.
Our Graduate Medical Education has expanded to five programs.

The residency-training program is divided into time the physician spends in the Medical Center's inpatient services and time spent seeing their own panel of patients in the Family Medical Center. Additional time in the program is devoted to electives and required rotations.
The Family Medicine Residency Program maintains an enthusiastic commitment from the community physicians. As a result, specialists are eager to offer their skills to residents enrolled in the program.
